Good-Lite® Basic Insta-Line Quantum™ Screening Cabinet
Quantum™ series screeners feature light emitting diodes (LED) instead of traditional incandescent light bulbs. With the increased efficiency of LED lamps, it is possible to run the unit from the rechargeable battery pack (included), which permits testing from most locations. The LED lights are expected to last 20 years.
The Insta-Line screener is an illuminated cabinet. But unlike other illuminated cabinets, the Insta-Line illuminates one line at a time. The unit is controlled by a wireless radio frequency (RF) remote control, which requires 4 “AA” batteries (not included). Each chart comes with its own layover for the remote control, which displays not only the optotypes illuminated in that test, but also a corresponding Snellen number for the illuminated test. With all the information at your fingertips, the test administrator can focus their attention on the patient.
All kits include Quantum™ Screener with remote control, rechargeable battery pack for the screener, and power cord for both recharging the battery or running the screener without the battery pack.
