MAICO® Pilot Automatic Select Picture Audiometry and Manual Pure Tone Audiometer with DD45 Headset
The digital PILOT TEST screens children as young as three years old by presenting the hearing test as a game. The child listens to ten sentences (in English or Spanish) presented at 8 descending decibel levels and points to the corresponding picture on the picture board. You can even see the test progress on the LCD screen and listen in on the test with the supplied operator earphone. The Pilot can also be switched into a manual pure-tone audiometer for screening more mature children. With manual screening, you can choose the speed at which you present the tones, frequency, and hearing levels. The included scorepad can be used for pure tone and select picture audiometry.
