Welch Allyn® Spot™ Vision Screener with Carry Case
The Welch Allyn® Spot® Vision Screener is an instrument-based vision screener that can help you quickly and easily detect vision issues on patients from six months of age through adult. The Spot Vision Screener detects common vision problems such as:
- Myopia (nearsightedness)
- Hyperopia (farsightedness)
- Astigmatism (irregularly shaped corneas or lenses)
- Anisometropia (differences between the two eyes)
- Strabismus (abnormal alignment of the eyes)
- Anisocoria (unequal pupil sizes)
Measurement Range
Spherical Equivalent: -7.50 to +7.50 (increments of 0.25D)
Cylinder: 0.00 to 3.00 (in + or -, increments of 0.25)
Axis: 1 to 180 degrees (increments of 1 degree)
Pupil Size: 3.0 mm to 9.0 mm in 0.1 mm increments in ± cylinder*
Accuracy: ± 0.4 mm
Symmetry: 0 to 5 degrees (increments of 1 degree)
Pupil Distance: 35 mm to 80 mm (increments of 0.1 mm)
