This system can be used by school nurses to help prevent drug abuse and to safely dispose of unnecessary medications, both at the school level and as a depository for concerned parents. Safe disposal of medication also protects water systems from pharmaceutical contamination and is environmentally responsible. Approved by the DEA to accept prescription and over-the-counter medications. Simply fill and seal the TakeAway box and have it picked up by UPS—Sharps® handles the rest.
